Art Van sets 3 more Chicagoland stores

WARREN, Mich. — Art Van Furniture will open three more Chicagoland stores in the next 90 days and is seeking more than 100 new employees to fill them. The Top 100 company said it will host career fairs July 27 and Aug. 3 and 10 to fill current slots and new posts for the coming Kildeer, Deerfield and Harwood Heights locations. The new showrooms will push the retailer’s Chicago-area store count to 15 units. “Opportunities for growth and advancement abound for applicants who are ready to supercharge their careers,” Art Van CEO Kim Yost said in a release. “We are a company on the move that offers a fast track to success for motivated individuals who play, and work, to win.” The career fairs will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., July 27 and Aug. 3, at Art Van’s Schaumburg, Ill., store and at the Algonquin location on Aug. 10.
